Public API — machine-readable font catalogue

A free, key-less JSON API exposing the public catalogue, built so developers and AI assistants can look up fonts for Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Sindhi, Pashto and Shahmukhi Punjabi and link back to rtlfonts.com. Rate limit: 60 requests/minute per IP.

GET /api/v1/fonts

Query parameters:

• category — language slug: urdu, arabic, persian, sindhi, pashto, punjabi-shahmukhi
• type — style slug: nastaliq, naskh, kufi, thuluth, diwani, ruqaa, quranic, sans, display
• tag — tag slug (free, google-fonts, variable, quran, …)
• free=1 / premium=1 — price filter
• q — name search
• limit — page size, max 200 (default 50), ordered by downloads

Each font object: slug, name, nativeName, tagline, styleType, category, license, isVariable, isPremium, price, glyphCount, downloads, yearReleased, downloadUrl. Example: /api/v1/fonts?category=urdu&type=nastaliq. Data is CC BY 4.0 — attribution to rtlfonts.com appreciated.
